Love this place. I already recommend this place to lot of friends.. Try it! Very neat and clean

It's located inside the Quest Academy strip mall as I call it. Lots of parking but if you were not to find this restaurant intentionally you will miss this gem! It's right next to the TKD place. It is spacious inside. Lots of tables to host a big or small family/friend circle. The sushi is very fresh and very generous portions. Lots of other hot Chinese dishes to pick from as well. We went on a Thursday night. Washrooms are clean. Try it out if you have not.

This restaurant never ceases to amaze. Some Asian restaurants seem to be in perfect tune others don't. This one is so perfectly tuned they have the right music and television for the time. Prime time dining hour. The dining hall was empty on our early arrival but it won't stay empty for long. Appetizers are brought out faster than the drinks! That's how fast it is. Miso soup of course is always hot in the pot ready to go but tea is brewed fresh for each carafe brought to the table. The sashimi was brought out quickly. Visible from the kitchen it was kept in a tall TRUE refrigerator, one of the commercial machines you can trust to stay working as long as it's maintained. Having visibility into the kitchen allows better insight into the food process and quality. It also makes the chef an exposed worker so they are more apt to maintain a clean hygienic properly functioning kitchen. The food was served at perfect temperatures. Mikes egg rolls were fresh from the deep fryer. Everything here screams FRESH. Music FRESH. Decor FRESH. Drinks FRESH. Fish FRESH. Food FRESH. Restrooms FRESH. This is how a restaurant is supposed to run. Insider secret: at full capacity this restaurant functions on a lean high efficiency staff of three people!

Came here for dinner and it went well. The restaurant was nice and I got a pitcher of water all to myself. The miso soup was good and the beef teriyaki was delicious. I would say that service was great overall. Would definitely recommend.

Went for lunch - two people. Fast and friendly service. Goes beyond sushi. Several Japanese entrees, rice dishes, noodle dishes, and appetizers. The sushi was fresh. Quite a few choices from basic rolls to more advanced creations. Very casual ambiance; basically one big room. Prices are low for what you get. Had to remind our server about a order for Pepsi - she forgot but then apologized (at lunch time, there was only one server for about seven tables with people there). Wide enough variety to satisfy all.

The food was very good. The service too. I asked for extra spicy and the Chef came out to make sure he did a good job. He did! Seating and tables very neat and clean. I'll definitely be back.

Just found out about this place and it wasn't too far so I gave it a try. Not a lot of great takeout sushi places in AH/Palatine... I was pleased with the maki rolls. The classic rolls were fantastic, and the specialty rolls I ate were solid in taste, but the variety of specialty rolls leaves something to be desired. Felt like a lot were similar to each other. The woman taking the order over the phone was pleasant. Service was good when we got there to pick up the order. She made sure everything was packed and included before we left. Interior is pretty standard modern industrial fare. A lot of space...only had 1 couple dining in when I was there. I like the smaller packets of soy sauce they provide. As they are a new business, they have a 25% off all regular price orders. Don't know when that expires, but for now, it is a great deal. I'll be back the next time I order sushi. Certainly a business to give a chance. I saw a review commenting on a smell inside the restaurant. I did not notice any odors.

First of all, make sure to read the descriptions of the rolls! The shrimp tempura roll has cream cheese, when traditionally it doesn't. In addition, some special rolls have "shrimp tempura roll", which a couple of our party members misread as just regular shrimp tempura. However, the food was pretty tasty and worth it. The service was also great, and the interior is modern and comfy. The Great: the sushi nigiri The quality of fish is evidently high - each piece of fish was large, and succulent. The sushi rice was cooked perfectly as well. The okay: the yakiudon and chicken teriyaki, Fancy roll The yakiudon (beef) had good quality beef, but it wasn't anything special. For the price, it is definitely filling and worth it. The chicken teriyaki had the sauce drizzled on top. Would have preferred it to be marinated in it, but the flavor was there. Not too salty or sweet.

Overall a solid experience for takeout. Ordered the sushi sampler 5- 5 pieces of nigiri, all rather fresh. Good size piece of fish for the price $13 Also got the Sunrise Roll- Big roll, fresh ingredients. It comes with Jalepeno, so if you don't like spice ask for without. Will be back to try more and report back!
